LANGUAGE & COGNITION LAB
Language and Cognition Lab is a part of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences in the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. It fosters and promotes interdisciplinary research with collaboration of different disciplines such as Linguistics, Psychology, Design, and Cognitive Science.
The lab focusses on various research from the perspective of cognitive psychology including laterality of Cognitive Functions, Visual Word Recognition, Bilingualism and visuals.
The Language and Cognition Lab and the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, was also a part of the iBrain Initiative, and organized a number of activities that included training workshops in methods in Cognitive Science, Psychology, and Linguistics.
